NEW YORK—Abelson Group, which specializes in the telecommunications and technology industries, has been selected as global public relations agency of record for Handango, a leading provider of mobile content. The firm beat out firms including Weber Shandwick, Text 100 and Topaz Partners for the account, which follows the company’s recent appointment by mPortal, Neven Vision, Sonim Technologies and Telescope.
Abelson Group is responsible for Handango’s global media and analyst relations program, thought leadership programs, messaging and positioning, event marketing, media tours, influencer roundtables, blogger relations and grassroots event PR.
