Abelson Group Adds Farrell-Talbot as Senior VP

Abelson Group, a marketing and communications firm focused on the technology and telecommunications sectors, has added Erin Farrell-Talbot, former senior vice president of Edelman’s corporate and technology practice in New York, to its management team.

NEW YORK—Abelson Group, a marketing and communications firm focused on the technology and telecommunications sectors, has added Erin Farrell-Talbot, former senior vice president of Edelman’s corporate and technology practice in New York, to its management team. As senior vice president of Abelson Group, Farrell-Talbot will oversee account management, business development, and recruiting activities, and will report directly to Jennifer Abelson, founder and chief executive officer.

 

Prior to joining Abelson Group, Farrell-Talbot was a senior vice president within the corporate and technology practice of Edelman’s New York office, where she managed external communications programs for some the agency’s largest technology brands, including Avaya, Canon, and iRobot and helped launch the agency’s clean and green technology unit.

 

Previously, Farrell-Talbot was senior director of worldwide corporate communications at Symbol Technologies, now a division of Motorola, where she helped the company navigate its way through a settlement with the Securities and Exchange Commission and other litigation issues. She has also held account management positions at some of the world’s most prestigious, well-respected technology agencies, including Porter Novelli, Text 100, and Weber Shandwick Worldwide.
