SAN FRANCISCO—Cohn & Wolfe has been selected by Spot Runner, an first Internet-based ad agency that makes it easy and affordable for businesses to advertise on TV. Cohn & Wolfe will serve as agency of record for Spot Runner, working closely with the company to support its ongoing corporate and advertising services communications programs. Cohn & Wolfe was selected, in part, because of its social media prowess and deep consumer branding and technology expertise.

MELVILLE, NY—Thomas Public Relations has been chosen as agency of record by Corsair, a worldwide leader in high performance computer memory and accessory products. Thomas PR was chosen for its specialized expertise in public relations and branding for computer technology and will be responsible for product launches, public relations, and branding for Corsair’s USB flash memory and power supply product lines.

ALPHARETTA, GA—Peleman Industries, manufacturer of Unibind binding, lamination and presentation products, has retained Porter Novelli for public relations services.  Porter Novelli will support launches for products such as the Unibind PhotoBook Creator and the XU professional series, and will create a strategic communications program to enhance awareness of Unibind products within the photography, scrapbooking, business presentation and professional binding industries.

HOLLYWOOD, FL—Fish Consulting has added Dunkin’ Donuts to its client roster. Dunkin’ Donuts hired Fish to create and implement an integrated national public relations and marketing program to drive franchisee recruitment in its developing markets. 

BOSTON—The Castle Group has added several new accounts, representing expansion in both its business-to-business and consumer practices. For The Colonnade Hotel and its Alsatian restaurant Brasserie Jo, The Castle Group is developing a regional media relations program. For Deloitte & Touche, the firm will increase visibility of its industry and functional leaders in New England. For King Richard’s Faire, The Castle Group has been hired to create promotional and media relations strategies to help expand the Faire’s patron base.

ATLANTA—The Appraisal Foundation, a nonprofit, congressionally-authorized organization dedicated to fostering professionalism in the appraisal profession, has chosen William Mills Agencyto guide the organization’s public relations efforts. 

LOS ANGELES—Amy Levy Public Relations has added four new clients to its roster. The agency will represent the internationally-respected photographer Rankin as he embarks on his American debut of his latest exhibition Eye Candy at the Fahey/Klein Gallery September 6, 2007. Other recent additions include: Alice Charlier Event Planning & Design Studio; Elephant Gifts; and LongevityHerbs.com.

NEW YORK—Krupp Kommunications has signed two new clients: Waterfront Media, an online publisher of self-help experts, has named K2 its agency of record; and Julie Morgenstern Enterprises, which offers expertise in organization and time-management, has hired K2 for a complete brand assessment.
