King Pharmaceuticals has hired Ruder Finn after a competitive pitch, plus new business successes for Peppercom, Burditch Marketing Communications, Warner Communications, JS2, Topaz Partners, Risdall Marketing Group, and Krupp Kommunications.

NEW YORK—King Pharmaceuticals, a vertically integrated branded pharmaceutical company, has hired Ruder Finn after a competitive pitch. The firm’s work commences immediately and includes supporting U.S. corporate and product communications activities around King’s pain management franchise.


NEW YORK—Lijit Networks, which powers onsite search functionality for more than 11,000 publishers across the Internet, has hired Peppercom as its agency of record.  Peppercom will work closely with Lijit to establish its presence and thought leadership within the advertising community, generate awareness of Lijit’s value proposition and provide overall PR support. 

SAN FRANCISCO—Burditch Marketing Communications has been selected to provide public relations support for the national launch of Italy's largest and most important producer of traditional balsamic, Acetaia Malpighi, which will introduce its refined vinegars and associated products in 2010 under the luxury brand name House of Balsamic. 


MANCHESTER, MA—Warner Communications has added Olivia’s Organics, Sayagle and Watson Wyatt to its client roster. Olivia's Organics, a leading provider of all-natural organic salads, selected Warner after a competitive review as agency of record to handle public relations and marketing duties. Watson Wyatt called on Warner Communications to build on its financial expertise through bylined articles and media relations on a project basis. And Sayagle, a location-based social networking marketplace, connected with Warner to launch the company and its products through media relations and viral marketing campaigns.

NEW YORK—JS2 Communications has added two new clients to its entertainment division, which is run out of the agency’s New York office: Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, who currently stars in Bravo’s top-rated reality show The Real Housewives of New York City and is the author of Class with the Countess: How to Live with Elegance and Flair; and Anoop Desai, who was a finalist on Fox TV’s American Idol and recently toured the country with American Idol Live!

WOBURN, MA—Topaz Partners has added two new clients: Enservio, a provider of software and services solutions for property insurance carriers and their policy holders; and ICT Asset Recovery, a global leader of hardware asset disposition solutions for end-of-life equipment. 

NEW BRIGHTON, MN—bd Mongolian Grill has hired Risdall Marketing Group as its agency of record. RMG will work with the restaurant chain, known for its interactive casual dining experience where customers create their own stir-fry. “We are looking to evolve our brand in the midst of our expansion, and with Risdall Marketing Group, we found a perfect partner who understands the bd’s Mongolian Grill brand:fun, lively and interactive,” says Denise Head, vice president of marketing for bd’s Mongolian Grill.

NEW YORK—David Bach, founder of FinishRich Media, has named Krupp Kommunications as public relations agency of record. K2 will provide strategy, brand management, and consulting for David Bach and FinishRich Media, as well as all national media relations support. K2 will also promote the launch of Bach’s forthcoming book, Start Over, Finish Rich: 10 Steps to Get You Back on Track for 2010.
