NEW YORK—Burson-Marsteller has been named agency of record for NextVR, a technology company that captures and delivers live and on-demand virtual reality experiences such as concerts and sporting events. Burson-Marsteller will work withNextVR to provide media relations, grow its business across markets and help identify new partnerships.

PROVIDENCE, RI—Havas PR North America has won the Rhode Island Commerce Corporation account and hired longtime Citibank executive Linda Descano to lead as executive vice president from the Havas office in Providence, RI. Descano most recently served as managing director and global head of content marketing and social media at Citi. 

NASHVILLE, TN—ReviveHealth, a healthcare marketing communication specialist, has been selected as strategic marketing communication agency of record for Pamplona Capital Partners IV, the $4 billion healthcare-focused private equity fund of Pamplona Capital Management, which recently announced the acquisition of MedAssets, a leading healthcare performance improvement company.

NEW YORK—The Halo Group, a branding and marketing communications agency, has been selected by the Toy Industry Association as the primary agency to help rally families and influencers behind their ongoing consumer program, The Genius of Play, which provides families with the information and inspiration to make play an important part of their daily lives. The Halo Group will manage an integrated campaign including branding, public relations, social and paid media.

BOSTON—Warner Communications has been named public relations agency for O'verlays, the maker of lightweight, decorative fretwork panels designed for customizing IKEA furniture and other home decor products. Warner will lead media relations efforts to enhance the company's brand awareness and drive consumer interest in the coming months.
