New business successes for King + Company, Risdall, Tellem Grody, K/F and Konnect.

NEW YORK— King + Company has been retained by SimpleTherapy, an online exercise therapy program. KCo will develop and execute a comprehensive public relations campaign to raise awareness of the service. The firm has also been retained by Akimbo, an online career resource, to highlight the potential of the site’s custom profile features to solve the epidemic of unemployment for “generation jobless.”

NEW BRIGHTON, MN—Risdall Marketing Group added 17 new clients in the third quarter across its digital marketing, brand management, public relations and website development divisions. New clients include Sealed Mindset, a Navy SEAL-inspired defense training center; Shoreview Area Housing Initiative, a nonprofit organization helping to improve housing opportunities for single-headed families; and Colorado Symphony, the Denver region’s only full-time professional orchestra. 

DALLAS—MedCareers Group, a development stage company, has retained Tellem Grody Public Relations, to provide the company and its wholly-owned subsidiary Nurses Lounge with public relations and social media services targeted at the more than three million nurses, employers, nursing schools and associations in the US and Canada.

SAN FRANCISCO—K/F Communications has been selected as the agency of record by three tech companies: Extreme Reality, which provides full-body software-based 3D motion control for touchless user interface experiences; Defense.Net, focused on defending businesses and organizations against the new generation DDoS attacks; and M-Files, an enterprise content management company.

LOS ANGELES—Konnect Public Relations has been named agency of record for Menchie's, one of North America's leading self-serve frozen yogurt franchises. Konnect PR will handle all consumer-facing public relations initiatives, working in tandem with the team at Menchie's to produce a steady stream of exposure on both a national and local level for Menchie's more than 300 locations.
