OTTAWA—Canadian government relations firm Global Public Affairs is joining forces with Arundell Solutions and G.P. Murray Research to provide clients with a comprehensive suite of government relations services focused on Ontario. Government relations and public affairs services will be offered under the Global brand. Specialized media products will continue to be offered under the GPMRL brand. Ed Arundell, president of Arundell Solutions, and a partner in GPMRL, will assume the title of vice chairman of global public affairs, and will be responsible for managing Ontario-based services.
ELKHART, IN—Tom Holt has launched Holt Communications, a full service strategic and marketing communications firm that will provide media relations, grass roots communication, community relations, and corporate communications counsel to the local market, in addition to serving national clients. Holt was most recently with Classic Communication in Niles, Mich. Holt also has entered into a relationship with Washington D.C. based lobbying firm, Holt Strategies, founded by Congressional veteran and former Bush/Cheney spokesperson Terry Holt. Holt Communications will provide media relations services and grass roots communications services to Holt Strategies clients as well as work with local businesses on basic local and state public affairs concerns.
SAN JOSE—IPRN, the worldwide organization of independent communication and public relations consultants, has admitted six new members: five from Europe and one from South Africa. The new additions bring the total number of members of the network to 43 in 34 countries with a total billing of more than $50 million. The new members are Bepublic from Austria, Fusion in Consulting based in Belgium, Opinion Valley from France, Scoop PR in the Netherlands and Star Public Relations from Sweden. The South African member is Red Cube Agency.
