LIMA—Lever LatAm, a branding and communication agency based in Lima, Peru, has joined IPREX, a worldwide network of public relations and communication agencies. Founded by Luis Nieri and Andrea Ortiz de Zevallos in 2008, Lever LatAm works with client such a Unimaq (the Caterpillar rental operation of Ferreyros Group in Peru), JJC (one of the country’s largest construction companies), Bozovich (a major wood and timber company), Aldo & Co (a leading Peruvian jeweler) and Iasacorp (which handles retail business for major brands such as Do It, Glitter, Mattel, Hasbro and Barbie).
NEW YORK—BlissPR, a professional services and healthcare public relations firm founded in 1975, is rebranding to become Bliss Integrated Communication. The firm says the new identity was driven by two factors: the firm’s growing digital footprint and client demand for integrated campaigns, which combine traditional public relations with social media, investor relations and digital marketing.
SAN FRANCISCO—Chicago-based technology public relations specialist Walker Sands Communications is expanding to the west coast of the United States. The opening of a new office in San Francisco marks the company’s first move since it was founded in 2001. Walker Sands will retain its main headquarters in Chicago.
CLEVELAND—Dix & Eaton is celebrating its 60th anniversary in a spirit that honors its namesake founders by giving back to the community. D&E recently fielded a team and was a corporate sponsor of the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes, and it will staff the phone bank for this week’s kickoff of the WCPN Membership Drive. The firm is also launching “60 for 60,” a pro bono program through which it will contribute 60 hours of professional services to a single organization.
NEW YORK—5W Public Relations has launched a new corporate identity, including a new logo and tagline: “Real. Resourceful. Results.” Founder Ronn Torossian says the new brand reflects 5W’s values for clients and employees in its 10th full year of business.
