New hires at Widmeyer, Krupp Kommunications, and Pinnacle network.

WASHINGTON, D.C.— Widmeyer Communications has named Terry Abramson vice president of Widmeyer Higher Education Solutions. Abramson was previously a consultant for the University of Maryland’s Office of Professional Studies where she conducted market research and analysis and served as liaison between faculty and outside partners in educational program development and training. He comes to Widmeyer from APCO Worldwide, where she was director of business development for North America. 

NEW YORK—Krupp Kommunications has hired Robin Applebaum as director of publicity. Applebaum most recently served as the director of PR for Dogmatic, where she oversaw east coast media relations, counseled clients. At K2, she will oversee the company’s production business, as well as manage the media relations team. Applebaum will be based in the New York City headquarters and will report to Heidi Krupp, the agency’s CEO and president.

WAYZATA, MN—Pinnacle Worldwide, a global network of independent public relations agencies, has named Johanna Mouton as its new executive director. Prior to working with Pinnacle Worldwide, Mouton served as a principal consultant for Cap Gemini/Ernst & Young, focusing on project management and business analysis.
