NEW YORK—Josh Zeitz (pictured) has joined MWW Group as senior vice president, corporate affairs. He will provide strategic counsel and crisis management for the firm's corporate and public affairs clients. Most recently, Zeitz served as chief of staff at MF Global, where he handled the personal and political affairs for former New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine and worked closely with the corporate communications team on executive speeches, media relations and corporate rebranding. Prior to MF Global, Zeitz served as senior policy director and transition director for Governor Jon Corzine's administration.

BOSTON—Rasky Baerlein Strategic Communications has added Harry-Jacques Pierre as associate vice president of its issues management practice. Prior to joining Rasky Baerlein, Pierre served as deputy press secretary for Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley from 2007 to 2011, acting as a spokesman for the Attorney General’s business and labor, government and criminal bureaus. Earlier, he spent more than four years spent as an assignment editor at WBZ-TV.

NEW YORK—GCI Health has appointed Kim Sammons senior vice president and deputy director of the Atlanta office. In addition to supporting the Atlanta office, Sammons will focus on expanding GCI Health’s capabilities to support the evolving role and needs of patient advocates, including traditional and online influencers. Most recently, Sammons served as vice president for the cause alliance firm, For Momentum, where she led corporate sponsor summits designed to expand and create partnerships between patient advocacy groups and for-profit organizations.

NEW YORK—MWW Group has hired Mike Scheiner as senior vice president, executive creative director. Scheiner will oversee the continued integration of the agency’s creative services and its digital marketing, social media and visual branding practice, Dialogue Digital. Most recently, he served as executive vice president, creative director of integrated branding and digital at Porter Novelli. Earlier, he ran his own integrated brand consultancy, Scheiner Inc.

NEW YORK—Goodman Media International has promoted Nicole Summer, previously senior account executive, to account manager. In addition Elizabeth Kidder and Katherine Morrison, previously assistant account executives, have become account executive.

MIAMI—Miami-based public relations and marketing firm Schwartz Media Strategies has promoted Kelly Penton to senior account director. Penton will spearhead media relations and marketing campaigns and lend strategic counsel to clients in the firm’s professional and legal services, municipal affairs, real estate and arts practices. She joined the firm as account director in 2010, after serving as director of communications for the City of Miami and press secretary in the Office of the Mayor.

WASHINGTON, DC—The David All Group has hired Jared Michael as chief operating officer of the online advocacy and digital marketing firm, and Ashley Simmons has joined the Washington office as an account director. Michael previously worked as an attorney and consultant on several major corporate mergers and numerous litigation and regulatory matters. Simmons is joining DAG from the Information Technology Industry Council, where she served as the director of communications.
