Horn Group has hired Katie Neuman as senior vice president in its San Francisco office, plus new people in new roles at French/West/Vaughan, GolinHarris Public Affairs, and JS2 Communications.

SAN FRANCISCO—Technology public relations specialist Horn Group has hired Katie Neuman as senior vice president in its San Francisco office. She is responsible for helping to grow the agency’s mobile clents as well as help expand its enterprise tech practice. Neuman joins the company from Bite Communications and reports to agency managing director Linda Clarke. Neuman has experience working with global brands as well as start-ups, most recently as vice president of Bite in San Francisco, where she worked extensively with mobile brands ZTE, Sun Microsystems, Bytemobile and Mocana as well as enterprise tech brands including SonicWALL. 

 

RALEIGH, NC—French/West/Vaughan has promoted Natalie Best to executive vice president. Best has been a vice president at FWV since 2006 and agency principal since 2009. In her new role, she will oversee national and international agency clients such as the Coca-Cola Company, Wrangler, the International Gemological Institute, House-Autry Mills and the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association. Best joined FWV in 2002 following PR positions with the Charlotte Hornets and the National Basketball Association league office.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—GolinHarris Public Affairs has promoted Matt Bennett to senior vice president. In this role, Bennett will lead the agency’s work for Kaiser Permanente and continue providing strategic counsel to clients such as Boehringer Ingelheim, One Economy and Children’s National Medical Center. He also advises many of GolinHarris’ account teams and clients on issues related to health care reform. Prior to joining GolinHarris, Bennett was a senior consultant at Issue Dynamics and was executive director for the New Millennium Research .

 

LOS ANGELESJS² Communications has hired seven new professionals, including Elizabeth Cahill, account director in the firm’s New York office and Katie Cycan, account supervisor in Los Angeles. Other additions include senior account executive Rachel Colley in New York; account executives Monica Pallan and Kat Nguyeni L.A.; and assistant a/es Cynthia Patnode and Kurtis Ovesen.
