NEW YORK—Brett Jewkes, a seven-year veteran of Alan Taylor Communications who relocated to Charlotte in 2004 to establish the agency’s first full service office outside of New York City, has been promoted to executive vice president.

In addition to providing strategic direction for the 13-person office and spearheading new business development throughout the Southeast region, Jewkes will remain actively involved in many of Charlotte’s key accounts including Alltel, NASCAR, Sara Lee Branded Apparel and Levi Strauss Signature.

Ryan Mucatel, a nine-year veteran with ATC who relocated earlier this year to help Jewkes manage the agency’s growth in Charlotte, has been promoted to vice president. Mucatel will lead the creative development and execution of marketing-support programs for client partners Alltel and Microsoft Xbox, and assume office management and executive recruitment responsibilities with Jewkes.
