SAN FRANCISCO—Allison & Partners has added two online travel brands to its consumer/hospitality practice: airfare meta-search engine Fly.com and “things to do” search engine Goby.

Launched earlier this year as a subsidiary of travel deal provider Travelzoo, Fly.com scours airline and travel sites. According to general manager Brian Clark: “Allison & Partners offered the right combination of direct experience in the online travel space and a strong track record of launching and growing consumer Internet start-ups. We are excited to start work with them to build Fly.com into a leading brand within online travel search.”

Goby.com, a just-launched search engine that helps people find fun ways to spend their free time, says “Allison & Partners' deep experience at the intersection between the travel and technology industries was a perfect fit.”

Both clients will be managed out of Allison & Partners’ San Francisco office, where GM Phil Carpenter is a former vice president of marketing for SideStep a pioneer in airfare metasearch, and now part of Kayak.com.
