SAN FRANCISCO – Allison+Partners is absorbing the team from Silicon Valley shop New Venture Communications to expand its B2B footprint. 

The move gives Allison added expertise when it comes to enterprise software, semiconductors, storage, renewable energy, SaaS and cloud computing, mobile and telecom, professional services and private equity.

NVC co-founders and principals Rich Moore and Lisa Kelaita join Allison+Partners as managing directors, responsible for the agency’s Silicon Valley presence. Robin Bectel, NVC senior vice president, will join Allison+Partners’ Washington, D.C. office.

NVC was founded in 2004 brings clients to Allison that include First Solar, StrongView, Boundless, CS Stars and The Anita Borg Institute. Allison’s existing B2B clients include Miron Technologies and Samsung’s Enterprise Business Division.

“We sought a partner with a bi-coastal presence in the U.S. to support and complement our expertise, one with the international reach our clients are increasingly requiring as well as deeper resources in areas such as media services and content marketing,” said Moore, who was Edelman’s global tech chair before founding NVC. Kelaita was previously EVP and GM of Shandwick International’s Silicon Valley office.
