NEW YORK—The World Police & Fire Games, which bills itself as the world’s second largest multi-sport, Olympic-style event, has selected public relations and public affairs agency Allison & Partners as its 2011 public relations agency of record. The agency will help the WPFG increase awareness of the games, driving sponsorships and building excitement for the biennial event.
Allison & Partners’ New York office will provide strategic counsel, media relations, social media, crisis communications and events support for the 2011 games, the first to be held in New York City. The event will host more than 15,000 police officers and firefighters from more than 70 countries worldwide.
