LONDON—Fleishman-Hillard has named Kevin Bell and John Saunders regional directors for Fleishman-Hillard Europe, as part of a restructuring directed by Dave Senay, who took over earlier this year as regional president of Europe and Africa.

Bell will be responsible for all U.K. and South African operations, and Saunders will take on all continental European offices, as well as Ireland. In addition, Bell will oversee the migration of the firm’s  GPC and Herald offices—specialists in public affairs and technology—to the Fleishman-Hillard brand in London, Edinburgh and Johannesburg.  Saunders will do the same in Dublin, Brussels, Amsterdam, Madrid, Paris, Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich, Milan, Prague, and Warsaw.

According to Senay, “Integrating the CPR, Herald, and GPC brands into Fleishman-Hillard will add significantly to our pan-European practice groups in healthcare, technology and public affairs, respectively. Together with our corporate, internal and consumer communications practice groups, we will offer an unparalleled array of expertise across Europe, with great depth for our clients, and extensive career growth opportunities for our employees.”

Bell and Saunders, who will report to Senay, are being promoted to executive vice president and senior partner and will join the agency’s 18-member global senior management committee. They will co-chair a newly formed Fleishman-Hillard European senior management committee, whose members include six other agency executives: Gita Angeli, who will oversee the combined operations of Fleishman-Hillard and Herald in Paris as managing director; Steve Carroll, a founder and CEO of healthcare firm CPR, who will oversee migration of the CPR operation in London into the Fleishman-Hillard healthcare practice; Wolfgang Küsters, managing director of the Fleishman-Hillard Frankfurt and Berlin offices, who will lead the agency’s client relationship management approach; Caroline Wunnerlich, current managing director of GPC Brussels, who will chair the Fleishman-Hillard practice group organization across Europe; Guillaume Herbette, chief operating officer for the agency’s European and South African network; and Christine Kenning, senior vice president of talent development in Europe.

Bell was most recently vice chairman of GPC and managing director of Fleishman-Hillard London.  He joined GPC in 2000.

Saunders is founder and managing director of Fleishman-Hillard Saunders in Dublin, Ireland’s largest and most respected agency.  The company was founded in 1990 and purchased by Fleishman-Hillard in 2001.

“John Saunders and Kevin Bell are eminently qualified to lead this newly integrated Fleishman-Hillard Europe into the future,” says John Graham, Fleishman-Hillard chairman and chief executive. “Both have great track records of growing people, growing accounts, and growing offices.”
