PHILADELPHIA—Government affairs firm Blank Rome is launching a financial reform task force in partnership with its Brussels-based public affairs partner firm Interel. Led by Peter Peyser, head of Blank Rome Government Relations in Washington, D.C. and Lawrence Flick, Blank Rome corporate finance partner in New York, and working with Interel, the new task force will offer counsel and provide insight to those impacted by the events unfolding in the U.S. and global financial markets.

"We're utilizing our Financial Reform Task Force as well as daily Financial Reform Watch updates as a way to actively engage our clients and others on how the financial reform is impacting them right now, and how new and expected legislation and reform will affect them moving forward," says Carl Buchholz, managing partner and CEO, Blank Rome.

The task force consists of a cross-disciplinary group of lawyers and public affairs professionals with experience in the areas of government relations, bankruptcy and business restructuring, corporate, commercial litigation, white collar and criminal defense, as well as government investigations.
