LONDON—Brands2Life has hired Phil Murphy as its new director of public affairs. He joins from PubAffairs, the public affairs industry events and online network.
Murphy’s experience includes 12 years’ UK and EU public affairs campaigning in a number of sectors, including e-commerce, data protection, broadcasting and advertising. Prior to founding PubAffairs, he held senior roles with the Construction Confederation, Advertising Association, the Advertising Information Group and the European Advertising Standards Alliance.
Brands2Life, best known for its work on technology and consumer clients, has handled public affairs work for clients including Sharp Electronics, the Business Software Alliance, Micro Focus, Nuance Communications and GS1 UK.
Murphy replaces Darren Caplan, Brands2Life’s director of public affairs for the last four years, who is leaving to become CEO of the Airport Operators Association.
