Brown to Lead Travel Practice at Ogilvy

Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide has hired Lorra Brown as a senior vice president in the agency’s marketing practiceand leader of the firm’s growing travel and tourism offering.

NEW YORK, March 15—Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide has hired Lorra Brown as a senior vice president in the agency’s marketing practiceand leader of the firm’s growing travel and tourism offering.
 
Brown will create strategic marketing communications programs that incorporate public relations, special events and marketing partnerships. She was previously senior managing director at Weber Shandwick, where she helped launch and establish the agency’s travel and lifestyle practice, working on accounts including the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Royal Caribbean International, Virgin Atlantic Airways and Lindblad Expeditions.   
 
According to Paul Hicks, managing director of Ogilvy’s New York office, “Lorra’s experience and expertise give us an important advantage by enabling us to provide top-tier client service to travel, hospitality and tourism clients.”
