SAN FRANCISCO — Brunswick Group has brought on Forbes’ San Francisco bureau chief Eric Savitz as a partner in its San Francisco office, among several senior hires across the US.

Earlier this month, Brunswick announced that Bethany Sherman, based in New York, and Chrysta Castañeda, based in Dallas, joined as US partners.

Savitz joins the firm after nearly three decades as a journalist covering technology and investments, primarily in the Bay Area. Prior to Forbes, Savitz held senior positions at Barron’s and The Industry Standard.

Sherman was most recently chief communications officer at Dow Jones and Castañeda joined from Locke Lord LLP, where she was a senior litigation partner and lead trial attorney in highly publicized cases.

The US managing partner position, left vacant by Mike Buckley’s departure to Facebook, remains open.
