Brunswick Moves Buckley, Hires Duckworth for New Bay Area Office

Corporate and financial communications specialist Brunswick Group is opening a new office in San Francisco. The office will be led by Mike Buckley, currently a partner in Brunswick’s New York office, and Amanda Duckworth, who will join the firm as a partner in November.

SAN FRANCISCO—Corporate and financial communications specialist Brunswick Group is opening a new office in San Francisco. The office will be led by Mike Buckley, currently a partner in Brunswick’s New York office, and Amanda Duckworth, who will join the firm as a partner in November, who most recently led her own consulting business.

With the addition of San Francisco, Brunswick will comprise 14 offices in 10 countries, including three in the U.S.

Duckworth has more than 20 years of strategic communications experience, much of it in the financial and professional services arena. She was previously executive vice president and general manager at Edelman, head of marketing for Montgomery Securities, and chief marketing officer for law firm Morrison & Foerster.

Buckley joined Brunswick as a partner in May 2001 with extensive experience advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, crises, litigation, restructurings, investor relations and public affairs.
