MIAMI—Burson-Marsteller has been selected by the Latin Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences to develop and implement a public relations and community awareness campaign promoting the 4th annual Latin GRAMMY Awards. The show—which will feature performances from some of the genre’s most important artists—will originate from the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami on September 3 and will be broadcast domestically by the CBS Television Network.

“Based on our experience partnering with the agency in 2001, its Latin American and Latin marketing expertise, and the team’s relationships with pertinent media and key community leaders, Burson-Marsteller was our first choice when it came time to select a local public relations firm for the Latin Recording Academy,” said Ron Roecker, director of communications.”

Rogers & Cowan continues to handle PR activities for the Recording Academy.
