SANTA ANA, CA—Advertising agency DGWB has launched a public relations practice to join its award-winning advertising and communications business, which has worked for brands such as KFC, Argent Mortgage, Toshiba, The Orange County Register, Children’s Hospital of Orange County, and St. Joseph Hospital.

DGWB’s public relations effort will be led by Stacey Doherty, who was previously vice president of public relations at Thinkbig Media. Prior to that, she was a founding partner in her own public relations consultancy and worked in the global communications department at Nortel Networks.

“Public relations brings a whole new dimension to what we can offer our clients,” said DGWB president Mike Weisman.  “We now have an even greater capacity to deliver a truly integrated marketing communications program and add more value to our client’s existing campaigns.  Clients have been asking us to add PR to our services for years – we finally took them up on it.”
