WASHINGTON, D.C.—Global healthcare communications specialist Chandler Chicco Agency has hired Al Jackson to lead the agency’s Washington, D.C., office. In addition, CCA DC brought onboard
Jackson, formerly partner and director of Ketchum Public Affairs, will be responsible for expanding the agency’s healthcare public affairs offering and further developing overall business growth within CCA’s D.C. operation. A 20-year industry veteran, Jackson has expertise with public relations and public affairs programs involving health policy, advocacy, grassroots engagement, online mobilization, and crisis communications.
His previous positions include vice president of political affairs and grassroots advocacy for the American Hospital Association and director of political action division for the American Medical Association.
Fishman, formerly principal of MDF Communications in New Orleans, will join CCA office as senior team member. Fishman has experience managing policy issues and public image for Fortune 100 companies and non-profit organizations. Her previous experience includes work at Pfizer Inc as director of U.S. public affairs and director of regional marketing group, as well as time as a vice president in the Washington, D.C., office of Edelman.
“The changing healthcare landscape raises the bar for companies and organizations to effectively build, enhance and protect their brand and further their public affairs agendas,” says Bob Chandler, founder and principal of Chandler Chicco Agency. In addition to the CCA operation, the D.C. office also is home to Health360Strategies, a public policy partnership between the lobbying shop Mehlman Vogel Castagnetti and Chandler Chicco Agency.
