NEW YORK—Rebecca Cisek, a clinical trial recruitment and pharmaceutical branding specialist, has joined GCI Group as senior vice president. Cisek will drive the expansion of the firm’s clinical trial recruitment business and healthcare business development efforts. She reports to AnnaMaria DeSalva, executive vice president and GCI’s North America healthcare practice leader.

According to DeSalva, Cisek’s “track record across multiple healthcare sectors strongly positions her to provide counsel in a variety of settings, and her leadership record in CTR will further power our significant offering in this area.”

Before joining GCI, Cisek was a senior vice president at Fleishman-Hillard’s Kansas City office, a healthcare hub for the agency, where she led accounts such as Pfizer Share Card, Forest Laboratories, Teva Neuroscience and Shaping America’s Youth. She also was instrumental in founding Fleishman’s CTR division. Previously, Cisek was a senior account executive at NKH&W, a full-service integrated marketing communications agency.
