MIAMI—Hillary for America communications professionals Jennifer Palmieri and Teddy Goff and New York Times reporter David Sanger are among the late additions to the speaker roster at the fourth annual Global Public Relations Summit, which takes place at the St Regis Bal Harbor in Miami next week.
Also joining are executives from Microsoft, Chobani, and Clorox.
Palmieri (pictured) is communications director for the Hillary for America campaign, while Goff serves as the chief digital and technology strategist for the Democratic front-runner. They will be part of a discussion led by Burson-Marsteller chief executive Don Baer exploring what has changed and what has remained the same in political communications, including how campaigns manage the interplay of their paid, earned and social media strategies.
Sanger, who is national security correspondent for the Times and the author of two bestsellers on foreign policy and national security, will be moderating a discussion on Communicating in the Complexity of Today’s Cybersecurity Threat Environment, presented by We Communications.
Other additions to the speaker lineup:
- Tim Rains, chief security advisor, worldwide cybersecurity and data protection, at Microsoft;
- Michael Gonda, vice president of corporate communications at Chobani;
- Mary O’Connell, senior director, global digital marketing, social media and public relations at Clorox.
Registration is still available for the event, which opens with the Independent Public Relations Firm Forum on Monday October 26 and culminates with the Global SABRE Awards dinner on the evening of October 28.
