Since 2001, Raffa served as public affairs director of the Italian and Mediterranean divisions for The Coca-Cola Corporation in Italy. He also served on Coca-Cola Italy’s board of directors for six years and is a member of the board of Assobibe, the industry association for soft drinks.

Before his time at Coca-Cola, Raffa held a number of high-level positions at other corporations in Italy, including: director of communications and government affairs at SmithKline Beecham; director of general affairs and communication at Glaxo SpA; and director of external and international affairs at Farm Industria. He worked as a journalist at Il Popolo before entering the corporate world.
