Cone Adds Branding, New Media Specialists

Cone has hired Ziba Cranmer as a vice president in the agency’s cause branding discipline and Alexandra Nicholson as director of new media.

BOSTON—Cone has hired Ziba Cranmer as a vice president in the agency’s cause branding discipline and Alexandra Nicholson as director of new media.

 

Prior to joining Cone, Cranmer served as Nike’s director of social innovation, based in Oregon, the U.K., and the Netherlands. She has more than 10 years of experience with Nike and the World Bank in areas including cause marketing, community investment, public-private partnerships, social entrepreneurship and finance, diversity and inclusion, ethical business and supply chains, transparency, youth development, and sport, fitness and health.

Cranmer will initially work on Hilton and Purina accounts while providing thought leadership to all agency clients.

 

Nicholson most recently was social media strategist for USA Today, where she aided in development of corporate social media policy and training, supported the publication’s Facebook and Twitter efforts and helped build brand presences on location-based platforms. Nicholson was previously USA Today’s communications manager, focusing on media relations, corporate spokesperson duties and cross-platform marketing initiatives, and worked with National Geographic and Allison & Partners.
