Gaude Lydia Paez has joined Fox Broadcasting Company as vice president, corporate communications, plus new people in new roles at IMA Financial Group and the United Fresh Produce Association.

LOS ANGELES—Gaude Lydia Paez has joined Fox Broadcasting Company as vice president, corporate communications. Paez will serve as a liaison between the network and the press on corporate issues including ratings performance, senior executive initiatives and industry-wide developments and will act as a spokesperson for Fox on behalf of senior management. She reports to Shannon Ryan, senior VP, publicity and corporate communications. Paez joins Fox from Internet TV service Veoh Networks and earlier was director of corporate communications for Yahoo!


DENVERLeanna Clark, former co-owner of Denver public-relations agency Schenkein until shortly before ts demise in January, has joined insurance and risk management company IMA Financial Group as senior vice president for corporate communications as well as executive director of the IMA Foundation. Clark left Schenkein last December. In 2001, she and business partner Christin Crampton Day had purchased the firm from founder Bob Schenkein.


WASHINGTON, D.C.—The United Fresh Produce Association has named Ray Gilmer as vice president of communications. Gilmer will lead United’s communications outreach to key news media, underscoring United’s leadership on food safety, nutrition, labor issues, transportation and supply chain and other priority issues. He joined FFVA in 1994 as director of communications and education and was named director of public affairs in 2000.
