RICHMOND—CRT/tanaka has been retained by the Northern Virginia Hospital Alliance to provide crisis management counsel and crisis communications training. The NVHA comprises 12 hospitals in the Northern Virginia area and coordinates the emergency preparedness and response activities of member hospitals around the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

CRT/tanaka will assist member hospitals in refining and aligning their existing crisis communication plans across the Alliance and in developing a training regimen for key leaders and crisis response team members.

According to Zachary Corrigan, executive director of NVHA: “We’ve developed a robust preparedness program since 9/11, but there are always areas that need improvement. We are confident that our leaders will be better prepared to deal with crisis situations as a result of this new relationship with CRT/tanaka.”
