CHICAGO—DKC Public Relations, Marketing & Government Affairs has appointed Molly Currey as executive vice president of its Chicago office, where she will oversee a new national consumer packaged good practice and focus on growing DKC’s presence across the Midwest.     

Currey was most recently executive creative director in the Chicago headquarters office of GolinHarris, where she worked with many of the agency's top accounts including McDonald's, Lipton, Walmart, Mountain Dew, and BP.

Prior to her most recent role, Currey—who joined GolinHarris in 1999—focused o the automotive, sports, and motorsport category, including the recently IZOD IndyCar Series, and the and hotel and hospitality marketing sector, with client such as W Hotels Chicago, Hard Rock Hotel Chicago and the Elysian.

In addition, the firm has named Cotton Delo, the former local bureau chief for Advertising Age, to its San Francisco office. Delo will focus on content creation for DKC’s clients in the Bay Area and across the country.
