NEW YORK—Echo Research has launched a new online media analysis system, Echo Sonar. Echo Sonar provides access to publications around the world combined with an advanced analytic platform.

Echo Sonar is a fully automated media analysis and competitive benchmarking tool developed by media analysis experts at Echo Research. This new service provides topline insight into a company’s media presence while also providing competitor analysis. It is a highly cost effective management tool because of its automated proprietary software.

The Echo Sonar service also allows companies access to their media coverage online at a low fixed cost. The service captures media from 30,000 titles around the globe. Sonar tracks keywords, brand names, products, messages or topics that are important to an organization as well as information for up to eight competitors. With a choice of Monthly Scorecard Reports or Daily News Alerts (DNA), Echo Sonar allows clients to monitor trends over time through its online dashboard.

Says Echo Research president David Michaelson: “The critical challenge facing communicators today is being able to respond to critical issues quickly. In today’s media environment, companies do not have the luxury to wait for information. That is why we developed Echo Sonar as a way to address this urgent need.”
