LONDON—Edelman has expanded its European network with the addition of three firms as exclusive affiliate partners in Iceland (AP Public Relations), Portugal (GCI Group) and Switzerland (Richterich & Partner). Edelman has 13 wholly-owned European offices following a recent move into Poland and 19 European affiliates.

Says David Brain, president of Edelman Europe, “We are getting more and more pan-European requests and challenges from our clients and so are filling out the last few markets not already covered by our network. These consultancies in Iceland, Portugal and Switzerland are great new additions and we are confident that we have the right partners on board to deliver outstanding communications support for clients in these markets.”

Richterich & Partner has been operating for over seven years and specialises in consumer goods, business-to-business, retail, technology, finance, food, tourism, media and politics. It also advises various public figures in the financial and political arenas, as well as prominent sporting and society personalities.

The GCI Group, a Portuguese Communication and PR firm, specialises in consumer brands, health and biotechnology, technology, fashion and design and events and employs 25 consultants.

AP Public Relations is one of the leading communications consultancies in Iceland. The company was founded in 2002 and now employs staff of eight people, specializing in corporate communications, media communications, financial communications and investor relations, multimedia consulting and government communications.
