Edelman Names New Leadership Team in Asia

R&PM:Edelman has announced a new leadership team to enhance its position in India, with a focus on building additional in the technology, public affairs, digital and social engagement sectors.

BANGALORE—R&PM:Edelman has announced a new leadership team to enhance its position in India, with a focus on building additional in the technology, public affairs, digital and social engagement sectors. Amit Misra is joining the company to head operations in Delhi while Ophira Samuel-Bhatia, who has been with the company for 13 years, will now head operations in Mumbai. They will report to Roger Pereira, CEO and managing director.

 

Roma Pereira-Talwar will be director of the firm’s national lifestyle and healthcare practices; Sachin Talwar, who has spent 17 years with the firm, has been appointed director of the national corporate practice; and Allwyn Fernandes, who was a journalist for 25 years and has been in corporate communications for the last 14 years, has been appointed director of social engagement in addition to his role as director of the media practice.
