New people in new roles at Edelman, FD Blueprint and 3Sixteen; new business for Six Degrees, CitySavvy and Man Bites Dog.

LONDON—Jessica Lennard has joined Edelman as account director in its public affairs practice. Lennard previously worked as a campaigns manager at Conservative Campaign Headquarters and as a member of the Shadow energy and climate change team in the office of Greg Barker MP, now Minister for Energy and Climate Change. She left the Conservatives to establish a new energy and environment division at Hanover, from where she joins Edelman.

BRUSSELS—Financial services expert Hans Hack is joining FD Blueprint as head of the consultancy’s financial services practice. Financial attaché with the Netherlands Permanent Representation to the EU since 2008, Hack will deploy his expertise in the sector to develop and enhance FD Blueprint’s financial services practice further. Hack was previously with the Dutch Finance Ministry for five years, serving in the Financial Markets Policy Directorate.

LONDON—Following a four-way pitch, Six Degrees has landed the Case-Mate account for the UK. The account will be led by Six Degrees managing director, Jennifer Janson, with a focus on media relations aimed at the consumer tech and lifestyle media. Case-mate is an American brand known for its mobile device accessories.

LONDON and AMSTERDAM—CitySavvy has been appointed by Asset-Ex, a global online marketplace for buying and selling business assets, to manage its European launch. The site launched on April 5 across Europe, with a focus on the UK, France, the Benelux, Nordics and Switzerland. The account is being managed by Jana Sanchez, John McLeod, Soraya Atmani and Marie-Christine van den Wijngaart.

BRIGHTON—Rufus Leonard, the brand and digital agency, has appointed business-to-business PR specialist Man Bites Dog to handle its PR in the UK. Man Bites Dog will be working closely with Rufus Leonard on its communications strategy, as well as developing high-impact thought leadership programmes and other cross-media PR campaigns. Man Bites Dog won the account following a three-way pitch.

EGHAM, UK—Integrated marketing agency 3Sixteen has appointed Carolyn Hunter as account director. She joins 3sixteen from Grey Healthcare Group where she managed the GlaxoSmithKline account. Her past experience includes work with brands including Disney, Kodak and Kit Kat. At 3sixteen Hunter will lead the Kerry Foods account, working on brands such as the Levi Roots’ Chilled Caribbean range and the Ken Hom Oriental meal range.
