Discount airline easyJet has appointed Paul Moore as communications director, plus new buiness for Diffusion and Fihburn Hedges, a new consumer exec at Brands2Life.

LONDON—Discount airline easyJet has appointed Paul Moore as communications director. Moore has an extensive track record in the transport sector, most recently as communications and public affairs director at bus and train operator FirstGroup, and prior to that as director of corporate affairs at Virgin Atlantic Airways. He will manage easyJet's media relations across Europe along with the airline's public affairs and CSR activities. He will sit on the Airline Management Board and report to Carolyn McCall, chief executive.

 

LONDON—La Senza, the global lingerie brand and retailer, has appointed social media agency Diffusion to develop and implement its social media strategy in the U.K. and Ireland.  Diffusion has been briefed to increase awareness and understanding of the La Senza brand and drive quality traffic to boost online sales and drive footfall in La Senza's 190 stores in the U.K. and Ireland.  Online reputation management will be core to Diffusion's work, with the agency providing actionable insights on product development, store experience, customer service and wider brand issues being discussed on social media platforms.


LONDON—Brands2Life has hired Jonny Lockwood as associate director on its consumer team. Lockwood, formerly head of consumer at Eulogy, will be reporting to Alex Williams, the head of the consumer practice at Brands2Life.  He brings more than 10 years of experience working on consumer brands across telecoms, media, drinks, entertainment, music and fashion sectors and will work on Brands2Life accounts including Nikon Europe and T-Mobile.

 

LONDON—Clear Channel International, the out-of-home advertising group, has appointed Fishburn Hedges as its global corporate communications adviser. The firm will raise CCI’s profile and strengthen its reputation internationally among business, government and financial stakeholders. Fishburn Hedges will report directly to William Eccleshare, CCI’s president and chief executive, and the Fishburn Hedges team will be led by Neil Hedges, the agency’s chairman, and includes Jason Nisse, Farimah Saadat and David de Koning.
