New business for Hopscotch, Scott Partnership, Diffusion, Revolver and Brands2Life; new senior comms leadership at SES.

PARIS—Leonidas, the leading Belgian chocolatier has selected Hopscotch to strengthen its relationship with print, broadcast and online media. The firm will focus on chocolate gift-giving holidays to raise visibility for the company.

CHESHIRE, UK—Global business-to-business communications agency The Scott Partnership has been appointed by Synergy Health (UK) to support growth in its hospital sterile services division. The Scott Partnership will engage stakeholders around Synergy’s operating model, which is designed to improve service and instrument processing quality while significantly reducing operating costs.

LONDON—Diffusion Mobile has been appointed by Chelsea Apps Factory, a UK apps consultancy and development house, to bolster its profile with brands and developers. A central objective for Diffusion will be to raise Chelsea Apps Factory’s profile through a disruptive campaign that highlights the importance of professionalizing the apps industry. Diffusion will be carrying out an integrated PR campaign to promote Chelsea Apps Factory’s services across the mobile and business industries in a thought leadership drive that showcases the company’s consultancy and development expertise.

LUXEMBOURG—SES, a satellite operator with a fleet of 49 geostationary satellites, has appointed Niclas Friese-Greene as senior vice president marketing and corporate communications. In the newly created position, he reports to Ferdinand Kayser, chief commercial officer, and Romain Bausch, chief executive officer and will be responsible for the worldwide marketing activities as well as for corporate communications. Previous roles have included Loewe, Nintendo and Siemens Mobile.

GLASGOW—Leading speech synthesis company CereProc has engaged Revolver to provide a comprehensive range of PR, communication and media outreach services. Revolver will provide digital media support to CereProc and raise awareness of its latest areas of development, which currently focuses heavily on improving techniques for emotional text to speech.

LONDON—US travel brand Jetsetter has appointed Brands2Life to launch the company in the UK. Brands2Life’s brief is to drive qualified members and sign-ups to Jetsetter.co.uk.
