ATLANTA—Albany-based integrated marketing agency Eric Mower & Associates is combining operations with Mark Russell & Associates, creating a $220 million marketing communications firm with more than 260 employees in seven offices in the Eastern U.S. MRA is a full-service marketing communications agency with billings of $50 million and offices in Syracuse and Atlanta.

MRA has specialized expertise in the growing areas of online relationship management and cause related marketing. Clients include ADT Security, Caesars Pocono Resorts, FedEx Kinko's, Kaboom Infinite Energy Drink, Motorola, and Verizon Wireless.

According to Eric Mower, chairman and chief executive officer, “The combined organization will be a much more commanding presence in the highly competitive business of advertising and public relations. And we will be better able to meet the needs of our clients in a world where technology causes constant change in the methodologies of communications.”

The MRA deal is EMA's second acquisitions in 2008. In January, the agency acquired Clarke Advertising & Public Relations in Sarasota, Fla.
