Film Detroit Selects Fleishman for Entertainment Outreach

Film Detroit, a division of the Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau, has selected Fleishman-Hillard International Communications as its new public relations agency for communications with the entertainment industry.

DETROIT—Film Detroit, a division of the Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau, has selected Fleishman-Hillard International Communications as its new public relations agency for communications with the entertainment industry.  The account will be managed out of the firm’s Los Angeles office. Senior vice president of sales and marketing Christopher Baum says he was impressed with Fleishman-Hillard’s deep understanding of the business, entertainment and tourism industries.

 

Says Baum: “We selected Fleishman-Hillard because of its proposed creative approach to keeping the Detroit area top-of-mind with entertainment industry stakeholders as an experienced, cost effective and accommodating option for their future location shooting.”

 

Michigan has been promoting its film incentive program, which offers up to a 42 percent cash rebate above and below the line.
