Paul Johnson, former vice chair of Fleishman-Hillard and longtime head of its Washington, D.C., operations, has joined government relations firm National Strategies as president of its public affairs and strategic communications group.

WASHINGTON, D.C.Paul Johnson, former vice chair of Fleishman-Hillard and longtime head of its Washington, D.C., operations, has joined government relations firm National Strategies as president of its public affairs and strategic communications group.

 

NSI provides clients around the globe with strategy and insight in navigating complex procurement, public affairs, legislative, and regulatory processes at the federal, state, and local levels. n addition to its Washington, D.C., headquarters, the firm has offices in Atlanta, Tallahassee, Albany, New York City and Brussels, and a network of more than 2,000 bipartisan consultants located in every state capital and in major markets throughout the U.S.

 

Johnson spent 23 years at Fleishman, growing the company's mid-Atlantic region. In addition to serving as co-chair of the firm's executive management committee, Johnson aligned the agency's 28 practice groups to meet market trends and client needs and spearheaded numerous acquisitions and agency integrations, including GMMB, R. Duffy Wall, [email protected], and Vox Global Mandate.
