LOS ANGELES—For the 12th consecutive year, the Recording Academy has selected Rogers & Cowan as its agency of record for public relations efforts surrounding the GRAMMY Awards. Rogers & Cowan, working closely with senior director of communications Ron Roecker and his in house staff, focuses on media relations, event management and strategic positioning for the world’s premier music awards show, now in its 46th year.

According to Roecker, Senior Director, Communications, The Recording Academy,  “Rogers & Cowan’s entertainment marketing capabilities, along with its communications experience and music-industry relationships, continue to make our efforts more effective and visible throughout the year.”

The account is based in Rogers & Cowan’s Los Angeles office and headed by executive VP Maureen O’Connor who over the past 12 years has led a bi-coastal team of music publicists in both L.A. and New York.
