Former 60 Minutes Producer Joins BM's Crisis Practice

Burson-Marsteller has named news veteran and crisis strategist Paul Gallagher a managing director in the Washington-based issues and advocacy practice. Gallagher, a former producer for CBS’ 60 Minutes and NPR, will co-lead the agency’s crisis team in the U.S.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Burson-Marsteller has named news veteran and crisis strategist Paul Gallagher a managing director in the Washington-based issues and advocacy practice. Gallagher, a former producer for CBS’ 60 Minutes and National Public Radio, will co-lead the agency’s crisis team in the U.S., partnering with managing director Karen Doyne, who has headed the agency’s U.S. crisis capability since 2003.

Gallagher joins B-M from Manning Selvage and Lee, where he was director of media strategy. Previously, he spent 10 years as producer for Mike Wallace at 60 Minutes, where he won numerous awards for his work.
