Former Aide to Governor Joins McNeely Pigott & Fox

Will Pinkston, a former journalist who most recently served as communications director for Tennessee Governor Phil Bredesen’s successful re-election campaign, is joining McNeely Pigott & Fox Public Relations as vice president for special projects.

NASHVILLE, TN—Will Pinkston, a former journalist who most recently served as communications director for Tennessee Governor Phil Bredesen’s successful re-election campaign, is joining McNeely Pigott & Fox Public Relations as vice president for special projects.

Prior to working on Bredesen’s re-election campaign, Pinkston served on the governor’s senior staff at the State Capitol, managing key communications and policy initiatives. He assisted with strategic planning on issues ranging from TennCare to workers’ comp reform, helped launch the Tennessee Lottery in 2003 and managed other key efforts, including the governor’s anti-methamphetamine legislation.

Before joining the Bredesen administration in 2003, Pinkston was a staff reporter for The Wall Street Journal in Atlanta for three years and was a reporter for The Tennessean for three years.
