Former JWT Exec Joins Atomic to Lead Digital Efforts

Sean Mulholland has joined Atomic Public Relations as director of emerging media. Mulholland comes to Atomic from JWT, one of the largest global advertising agencies, where he was a strategist specializing in emerging media.

SAN FRANCISCO—Sean Mulholland has joined Atomic Public Relations as director of emerging media. Mulholland comes to Atomic from JWT, one of the largest global advertising agencies, where he was a strategist specializing in emerging media. Previously, he was search engine marketing project manager, also at JWT. Before that he worked at TryMedia, a PC gaming startup, in online marketing.

Mulholland and his team will work with existing Atomic staff to expand and refine its technical understanding and skills in Web 2.0 technologies and social media as they apply to public relations efforts. He will also manage Atomic’s growing social media team in deeper project and campaign efforts in the areas of search engine optimized PR; blog strategy, design and operations; video and podcast production; and social media-friendly pressrooms, microsites or site redesigns.
