Foy Joins Schering as Director of Global Communications

Pharmaceutical company Schering-Plough Corporation has named Denise Foy director of global corporate communications, with responsibility for leading and coordinating global media relations and external communications activities.

KENILWORTH, NJ—Pharmaceutical company Schering-Plough Corporation has named Denise Foy director of global corporate communications, with responsibility for leading and coordinating global media relations and external communications activities. She will report jointly to Rosemarie Yancosek, executive director of corporate communications, and Stephen Galpin, vice president of financial and strategic communications.

Previously, Foy was manager of global product communications and advocacy relations and oversaw communications for Schering-Plough’s cholesterol drugs, Vytorin and Zetia, as well as for Remicade and Integrilin. Prior to that, she worked in corporate communications handling media relations, financial communications and other projects, including the annual report.

Before joining Schering-Plough in 1998, Foy worked in corporate communications roles in various industries, including property/casualty insurance, managed care and financial services.
