NEW YORK—Hallmark magazine, an independent women’s interest publication created by Kansas City-based Hallmark Cards, has named marketing, public relations, and research and advertising sales partners, including G.S. Schwartz & Co. of New York, which will handle trade and consumer PR.
Hallmark magazine is scheduled to launch in late summer with a guaranteed rate base of 400,000. Other launch partners include The Ryan Group, which will develop and implement the magazine’s marketing initiatives and DJG Marketing, which will focus on research development, advertising and sales analysis and audience estimates.
G.S. Schwartz managing director Joan Cear will lead the account team. The firm has experience with clients in publishing and media, advertising and women’s issues, including Reader’s Digest, USA Weekend, Viacom, Dow Jones and The Promotion Marketing Association.
NEW YORK—G.S. Schwartz & Co. has added three new clients: the American Management Association; Ames Walker Hosiery, a manufacturer and distributor of therapeutic and medical hosiery; and The Spark Agency, an independent event and experiential marketing firm.
