Public relations firms GBC and Chocolate Communications have come together under a single united brand, onechocolate communications. The firms’ offices across U.K., France, Germany and U.S. will for the first time operate under one name.

LONDON—Public relations firms GBC (formerly Grant Butler Coomber) and Chocolate Communications have come together under a single united brand, onechocolate communications. The firms’ offices across U.K., France, Germany and U.S. will for the first time operate under one name.

 

Sue Grant, co-founder and director, says: “GBC was very much seen as a tech brand but as a wider company we have come such a long way from our roots nearly 20 years ago.  We now offer corporate, consumer and B2B clients a range of services that they can mix and match according to their exact needs.  We are finding more and more clients, like PC Tools, BCME/Can Makers and Playmobil, want a wider range of services and onechocolate conveys this versatility and richness of our services and skills much more strongly than our old brands.”

 

Adds Jill Coomber, co-founder and director: “Chocolate has been our consumer brand in the UK. for six years and we have created an excellent profile as a small, innovative consumer consultancy. But perhaps recently we have been doing ourselves down as clients now often look for a mix of skills and Chocolate was very much seen as a consumer only brand. Everyone loved the Chocolate brand name, hence we have chosen evolution not revolution on that score.”
