LONDON—Comparethemarket.com, the online insurance price comparison website, has appointed GCI London to drive brand awareness and establish it as the voice of the insurance price comparison market. GCI London will implement the PR programme for the brand to support a major marketing push in 2008. The campaign will focus on driving brand awareness and share of voice in national media and utilising Comparethemarket.com’s successful Channel 4 sponsorship. The campaign will include both online and offline media.
GCI London was awarded the account following a four way pitch. According to Mark Vile, marketing director, Comparethemarket.com: “Our brief was a complex one but GCI's pitch delivered on every level.
