NEW DELHI—Genesis Burson-Marsteller has formed an exclusive partnership with Hand in Hand, a development organization focused on improving the economic and social status of the very poor and chaired by former ABB chief executive Percy Barenvik, to offer corporate social responsibility expertise and services to the clients of the firm.
The alliance will offer clients opportunities to participate in credible, cost-effective and sustainable CSR programs and provide them with the expertise to develop, implement and monitor programs that make a difference to the communities they support.
“The differentiators for corporations are changing merely from profits to include a measure of contribution towards the well-being of its communities. This makes Corporate Social Responsibility central to successful execution of a corporation’s business strategy”, says Ashwani Singla, chief executive of Genesis B-M.
The range of CSR services offered under the new alliance will include CSR preparedness assessment; design-to- implementation of CSR programs; enhancing organization’s CSR capacity through a unique ‘build-operate-transfer’ model; and the design, and development of annual corporate social responsibility reports.
