Gibbs & Soell Names Lambert President

Gibbs & Soell Public Relations has promoted Luke Lambert from senior vice president and managing director of the agency’s New York office to president of the 37-year-old independent firm.

NEW YORK—Gibbs & Soell Public Relations has promoted Luke Lambert from senior vice president and managing director of the agency’s New York office to president of the 37-year-old independent firm. Lambert reports to former president Cos Mallozzi who becomes chairman and remains chief executive officer of the firm.  The appointment becomes effective January 1, 2009.

 

As president, Lambert, 43, will have overall responsibility for the agency’s global operations and performance including the success of the firm’s client service, business development and strategic growth initiatives. A 12-year veteran of G&S, Lambert’s prior positions include director and vice president of business development, and co-managing director of the company’s New York City headquarters.  He became an agency shareholder in 2001.
